Throughout her career, Angela has always recognised the importance of a positive attitude towards corporate social responsibility (CSR) and this is something that she has ingrained into the ethos of MiddletonMurray. Since the start of 2014 the company's CSR activities have generated almost £50,000 for a variety of good causes and community-based activities.

However, Angela's commitment to CSR isn't just about the amount of money raised; it also about her personal commitment to the community. This includes her work in undertaking a regular programme of careers talks at local secondary schools and presentations at universities, colleges and youth groups, the provision of hundreds of free copies of her book “How To Get Your First Job... And Build the Career You Want” to young school leavers and the undertaking of important roles as a governor at two local schools.

As for the charities that Angela and the staff at MiddletonMurray have supported over the past two years, these include: Help a Capital Child, Motor Neurone Disease, MacMillan Cancer Support, Children in Need, Greenwich and Bexley Cottage Hospice, the Salvation Army, The Charlton Upbeats Down's Syndrome programme, Cancer Research, Shelter, Meningitis NOW, Text Santa and the British Heart Foundation. In addition, Angela also played a big role in the company's support of the Charlton Athletic Community Trust's youth employment programme and Ebbsfleet United FC's important work with their local community groups and charities.

Speaking about the fundraising and community activities undertaken by her and the staff at MiddletonMurray, Angela said: "I am extremely proud of all of the efforts of our staff in supporting so many different causes. They have constantly gone the extra mile in their commitment to the communities in which we are based and in their support of the many charities we've worked with and they are always looking for the next challenge."

She added: "I passionately believe that a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility is extremely important to any business. For MiddletonMurray, CSR is about doing to others what you would like others do to you. It is about recognising how our behaviour affects others, and holding ourselves accountable for our actions. It is about integrity and doing the right thing for the right moral reasons, not just the bottom line."

In conclusion Angela said: "Having just launched the Middleton Philanthropy CIC, which will now be the beneficiary of a percentage of revenues from all business ventures, I am excited at the opportunity to make our charity and community activities ever more diverse and impactful in nature."
